Hi. Thank you for visiting. Had you asked me several decades ago, when such things were first on my mind, what is art, my answer would have been that it is the images collected on an artist’s journey. Since then much time has passed, including an adventure through the medium of music and an absence of a deep commitment to visual arts. It is only recently, after almost four years since the reawakening of my painter-self, that thought as a visual artist is returning. Now my belief is that the images are glimpses of a universal reality as seen though the artist’s eyes. Should that be true, it would explain why you recognize the emotions artists depict, even though you would state them in a different way. I hope you find it so here and enjoy some of my efforts.
